After last year’s success, we return to the SWC Summit. Will we meet Wozniak?

Business

The Startup World Cup Summit is something like a “champions league” in the world of . Last year we were selected among the top 18 out of more than five hundred entries from the V4 countries. We will be attending the summit again this year – and maybe we will meet Steve Wozniak. At least virtually.

Last year, the SWC Summit – like perhaps everything else – was a little weird. Everything took place online. This is a natural environment for us, but it is a bit unusual for startup competitions, in which we participate regularly. However, it was a great experience, even though we couldn’t meet competitors or mentors live.

Of all the entrants, we advanced among the 18 finalists of the V4 countries and were given the opportunity to present our project in a three-minute online pitch. You can also watch it on YouTube.

We will be at SWC Summit again this year! We will have a presentation stand In the startup zone where it will be possible to meet our team. The Continental Final will take place on 5th and 6th October in Prague, this time at least partially in the real world, in the Asylum 78 tent in Prague’s Stromovka park.

Three legends of the startup scene will also perform at the event (some of them via online broadcast). Steve Wozniak, Apple’s co-founder, will speak on Wednesday, October 6, and two other celebrities will speak on the same day – Esther Wojcicki, known as the “godmother of Silicon Valley”, who also mentored Steve Jobs’ daughter, and Kyle Corbitt, director of Y Combinator, one of the largest startup incubators in the world.

We look forward to the opportunity to meet mentors and investors, as well as the chance to establish relationships with other participants. We believe that this event will bring us even more experience than a year ago – and who knows, perhaps it will open up other opportunities for our development.
