& Now the #4 Release Notes:
⚙️ System & Settings
AI-Generated Custom Field Added
We’ve introduced a new AI-powered custom field feature to the system.
- Users can configure this field alongside other custom fields.
- It offers functionality like text shortening, grammar correction, or language translation.
- Users can also generate completely new outputs, such as retrieving specific information or creating random content for fields. For instance, in the Contacts module, the field can generate a personalized email message for each contact.
- The field can be regenerated or its validation adjusted within the table view anytime.
Lookup Custom Field Added
A brand-new “Lookup” custom field is now available.
- This field allows users to display specific data from linked items within a module.
- For example, if tasks are linked to other records, users can display the completion date of a specific linked task.
- It supports both single and multiple linked items.
Revamped Main Desktop
Version 4.0 features a completely redesigned main desktop:
- The right side now displays information about the number of records, operations, and AI credits.
- Beneath this, banners provide access to Appflows or the partner program.
Fine-tuned Help Center
The “Help Center” section has been enhanced with new features:
- Users can now join the Boost.space Partner Program directly from this section.
- The section includes an upgraded FAQ with answers to common system-related questions, making it easier than ever to find the help you need.
Additional Design Upgrades
The entire Boost.space system has been modernized and streamlined:
- Unified font sizes across tables and other system elements.
- Improved design of system notifications, such as for Appflow installations, API token creation, or system errors.
- Enhanced the interface displayed when the system enters sleep mode (e.g., after a laptop is put to sleep).
🧩 Modules
Introducing the Docs Module
The former “Pages” module has been revamped and renamed to “Docs.”
- Creating a new space in this module follows the same process as other modules.
- The new text editor includes advanced features, such as moving text to specific locations or generating content using AI.
- Users can open created docs directly from the table view, just like in other modules.
Search in Table View
We’ve added a search function for custom fields and their groups in the table view of individual modules.
- Users can search by field or group name.
- This functionality applies to both standalone custom fields and their groups.
🛒 Marketplace & Appflows
The Boost.space Marketplace is LIVE. Explore the first micro-SaaS platform where creators can collaborate, offering custom solutions to unique business challenges. Skip the setup guesswork with Appflows – ready-made stand-alone micro-SaaS solutions designed by experts.
We’ve explained all there is to know about the Marketplace, Appflows, and our revamped Partner Program in this article.
We’ve already enhanced the Marketplace with a couple of adjustments:
Appflow Categorization by Module
Appflows in the Marketplace are now categorized by module.
- For example, if you need an Appflow for managing contacts, only relevant Appflows will be displayed.
Free Appflows
Users can now access FREE Appflows with any paid subscription tier.
Space Selection for Appflow Installation
During Appflow installation, users can add the Appflow to an existing space.
- If only one space exists, it will be preselected automatically.
Automatic Module Installation with Purchased Appflows
When users purchase an Appflow via the Marketplace, the module associated with the Appflow will now install automatically.
- The welcome flow step for module selection is skipped, allowing users to proceed directly with the purchased Appflow setup.
